Project Objective

The project aims to cater to learning gaps in the Indian public schooling system which are a result of, but not limited to, a failing education system, limited support systems for young kids and cultural factors that hinder their growth.
How might we
empower underprivileged children from public schools by bettering their education while creating an environment for holistic personal growth.

Indian Educational System: Reasons for Failure

Teacher Shortage
Teaching staff receive minimum wage with no benefits, leading to a severe shortage, overworked teachers, and an overall neglect of holistic education

Our Initiative: NEEV

In 2017, we piloted NEEV, which uses creative critical thinking, art, and value-based courses for teaching basic education and life skills.

Owing to the inadequate support system in underprivileged families, there are usually learning gaps in the education and overall development of the child. However, daily NEEV classes pose a risk of becoming burdensome.
